New Conservation Areas - Carnforth and Cannon Hill, Lancaster

Carnforth

Carnforth Conservation Area has now been designated. The designation took effect on 4 March 2011. All affected properties will be notified shortly.

Cannon Hill

Following Cabinet approval, Cannon Hill Conservation Area has now been designated. The designation took effect on 17 September 2010. Those properties which fall within the boundary have been notified.

Conservation Area Appraisals

The Council is planning to produce conservation area appraisals for both conservation areas during 2011. Once the first drafts have been produced, a consultation period will follow.
