Planning application fees


Full planning permission

Full Planning Permission is the approval of details for either a change of use of land or buildings, or some form of building or engineering works.


Householder planning permission

Approval of full details of house extensions or other projects within the curtilage of a single dwelling house.

Do I need planning permission?

Complete our questionnaire to see if works to your house require planning permission before submitting your application. This service is free of charge and you will receive a written response from us.


Advertisement consent

Consent to display advertisements on land or buildings.


Outline permission

To obtain approval for the principle of a development.


Reserved matters

Approval of matters not included within the outline permission


Listed building and conservation area

Approval of alterations to Listed Buildings or works in a Conservation Area.


Lawful development certificate

Lawful development certificates establish that an existing or proposed development or use is lawful.


Prior approval

Forms for prior approval applications, which include telecommunications equipment installations, agricultural determinations and prior approval of demolition.

Guidance notes to help you complete the forms:


Removal of variation of planning conditions


Tree works or hedgerow removal

Use these forms to apply to undertake works or to fell trees protected by a Tree Preservation Order or trees within a Conservation Area; or to remove a Hedgerow.


Renewal of planning permission

New legislation has come in to force allowing the renewal of planning permissions, and any associated listed building consents and conservation area consents from 1st October 2009. 


Non-material amendment

Submit this form with your revised details when you wish to apply for a minor amendment to an existing planning permission.  Please note that some changes will necessitate a new planning application.


Discharge of conditions

This form should be submitted to request the discharge of conditions on a planning permission.
