How to find Planning Applications
Planning Applications from 1992 to the present day are available to view through our Public Access for Planning system.
You can search for planning applications, submitted plans, decision notices and other documents in a number of ways:
Simple Search: Search by application reference number, postcode, or first line of the address
Advanced Search: Search for a specific application by various criteria and combinations - including proposal keyworkds, application number, dates, decision, appeal and appeal decision, agent's name, etc.
Weekly or Monthly List: Shows all applications submitted by week or by month for the last six months.
Property Search: Search for applications by property address, either by A to Z Street Search or Address Search
View Map: An interactive map that allows you to zoom in to an area of interest and view details of any related planning applications. The map page has a help facility and a legend to help you find the area you are interested in.
Associated Documents: Application forms, plans, drawings and consultation responses are available on the Associated Documents tab.
Submitting Comments: You can comment on any application during the consultation period. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, comments submitted may be made available on the Council's website and will be available for public viewing in Palatine Hall. If you do not wish to have personal information such as email address or telephone number published you should NOT complete these fields in the comments form, but comments cannot be considered if you do not provide your name and postal address.
