Annual Monitoring Report
The Local Development Framework (LDF) system requires local planning authorities to publish an Annual Monitoring Report (AMR). This reports on the preparation of the LDF documents and monitors the effects of implementing planning policy.
Through yearly recording of the same information, the monitoring process allows the council and the local community to find out if the LDF planning policies are helping to achieve planning objectives.
The council's seventh AMR was published on 19 December 2011, covering the period April 2010 - March 2011. The report is available to download from the right hand menu. Previous years AMR reports are also available.
