Lancaster City Council has published the proposed Main Modifications to the Local Plan, submitted to the Secretary of State in May 2018, which is currently under examination. An eight week consultation will now take place and you are invited to make representations on the soundness of the plan, as a result of the proposed Main Modifications Schedules, found below.
All representations made previously have been taken into account by the Inspector and should not be repeated. This includes representations made at:
- The Draft Publication (proposed Submission) consultation stage (9 February 2018 to 6 April 2018); and
- During the examination hearing sessions (9 April to 1 May 2019 and 21 May 2019).
Please note: Only representations received during this consultation period, and made in relation to a proposed Main Modification set out in the Schedule of proposed Main Modifications to the Submission Draft Local Plan (May 2018), will be accepted (considered duly made) and forwarded to the Planning Inspector.
Following the close of this consultation valid representations will be forwarded to the Planning Inspector, Richard McCoy. The Inspector can then take account of comments received on the soundness of the submitted Local Plan documents. More information on the Examination can be found here.
