Seven-a-Side Football League

Each year we run a popular seven-a-side football league competition. The next season begins in May 2012 with matches being played on Tuesday evenings on our recently re-furbished synthetic pitch.

Lancaster City Swimming and Waterpolo Club

Lancaster City Amateur Swimming and Water Polo Club was established in 1889 and is now based at the sports centre. Although Lancaster is only a small city, the history and the success of the water polo team has made us one of the best known clubs in the country.

Bay Stormers Cheerleaders

Bay Stormers Cheerleaders currently meet every Saturday morning at the sports centre, with groups for juniors (5 to 11 years) and seniors (11am to 12 noon).

City of Lancaster Triathalon Club

The City of Lancaster Triathalon Club (COLTS) train every Wednesday evening from 7pm at the sports centre.

Cog Set Cycling Club

The Salt Ayre Cog Set is a cycling club for young people (aged 6-18) that meets at Salt Ayre from Saturday 3rd April until Saturday 23rd October. Other events happen throughout the winter.

Salt Ayre Cycling Association 

Salt Ayre Cycling Association (SACA) is a collective of Lancaster Cycling Club, Lune Racing Cycling Club, Kent Valley Road Club and Lakes Road Club with the purpose of promoting cycling at Salt Ayre Circuit. They organise a number of time-trials and a league that regularly uses the Salt Ayre cycling track. Find out more about the association (External site)
