Arts Development is the name given to the ongoing growth of every aspect of the arts, whether it relates to arts funding, project and event management, artist contacts or general information about development of the arts and creative industries in the Lancaster district.

The Arts in Lancaster District contribute to 17% of the creative wealth in Lancashire County with up to 14 arts organisations being resident on our doorstep. Some of them funded annually, some funded project by project.
It is the role of Arts Development Team to coordinate arts activities.
