Lancaster City Council annually funds five arts organisations £250,000 in total. Ludus Dance, Dukes Theatre, More Music, Storey Gallery and Litfest are all recognised, locally, regionally and nationally as being pioneers in delivering arts initiatives that cover strategic objectives for Lancaster City Council, Lancaster County Council and Arts Council England.
These organisations represent a broad artistic remit including Music, Theatre, Dance, Visual Arts and Film & New Media.

Through projects and partnership work, Lancaster City Council fund projects with a range of organisations including Folly, the Grand Theatre, the Nuffield Theatre and Green Close Studios.
