Museums
Museums and museum services in Lancashire are managed by Lancashire Museums, on behalf of Lancashire County Council.
Lancaster City Museums operates six museums on five sites within the city, details of which can be found via the links on this page.
It also provides a range of services such as education, exhibitions, identifications and enquiries. Its collections provide a tremendous resource for local history, family history, topography and buildings.
