Happy Mount Park
About The Park

Green Flag Award
Happy Mount Park was originally created in the 1920s as a traditional urban park area. It has had a varied history with many unusual attractions such as wild animals (with, believe it or not, a bear!), a boating waterway and various other attractions. Today attractions cater for the modern day family, whist still allowing parts of the park to capture the peace and tranquillity of a traditional park.
Green Flag Award
In 2007 Happy Mount Park was awarded a Green Flag Award after being judged by the Civic Trust to be welcoming, safe, well maintained and that it encouraged community involvement.
