Heysham swimming pool
Heysham Pool is situated in the grounds of the adjacent High School on Osborne Road, Morecambe (see map below).
The pool is 25 metres by 10 metres with a maximum depth of 2 metres, which allows for diving at the deep end.
For a quiet swim, the pool provides Adults Only and Ladies Only swimming sessions throughout the week. Alternatively why not try one of our Aqua fit, Hydro fit or Fitness swim sessions? For younger age groups, swimming lessons are available and we've a great after school splash up on Thursday nights. The pool also has times for family sessions, providing mats and floats during public swimming times for the children to enjoy.

• Senior Citizen Swim - £2.40 (£2.20 with a user card)
• Family Swim (2 adults and 2 children) - £9
•Don't forget - everyone can swim for just £1 on Tuesday nights

Swimming lessons
Book now for lessons starting in April 2012.
• 8 week course that develops swimming skills and water confidence.
• Lessons available for all levels and all ages.
• Structured lesson programme that follows the national ASA learn to swim plan
• Maximum 10 people per class with fully qualified and friendly instructors.
• 30 minute classes run on either Monday, Wednesday or Friday evenings at 4pm,
4.30pm or 5 pm.
• Great value at only £34 for 8 week course.
Birthday parties
The pool is available for birthday parties at the following times:
• Mondays - 3pm to 5pm
• Tuesdays - 3pm to 5.30pm
• Saturdays and Sundays - After 12.30pm.

Swimming pool admissions policy
Children under the age of 8 years MUST be accompanied at all times in the water by a responsible person of at least 16 years of age.
One responsible person may accompany 2 children, under the age of 8 in the water at all times. However, only one child may be under the age of 5 years.
Children's swimming ability will NOT override this policy under any circumstances.
