Filming in the Lancaster District
David Lean's Brief Encounter, Carnforth Station
Lancaster District is becoming widely recognised as an excellent location for film and television productions. We have a wealth and variety of urban, rural and coastal landscapes along with many unique individual buildings and settings that it can meet many film and television requirements.
The council can help film makers with all sorts of requests including providing advice on suitable locations, assist with parking requirements, accommodation and will offer to coordinate site visits with the film maker and discussing any objectives or problems that may arise.
