Revised Gambling Act Policy Consultation

The Gambling Act 2005 requires Licensing Authorities to publish a statement of principles (or policy), which they propose to apply when carrying out their functions.

The policy statement provides information on how Lancaster City Council manage local gambling provision and sets out our expectations from operators with premises in the local area.

Lancaster City Council invites you to make comment on the contents of the revised draft policy. All representations will receive due consideration prior to the final draft being placed before the Full Council for adoption.

Responses to the consultation must be returned to the Licensing Manager either by post or by emailing licensing@lancaster.gov.uk by no later than 18 January 2019.
