Inside you’ll discover the mayor’s official parlour, the council chamber and the impressive Ashton Hall, before being ‘sent down’ from the old courtrooms into the atmospheric subterranean police cells. Along the way, uncover gems including the Olympic torch, Gillow’s centrifugal table, and the Ashton Hall’s grand concert organ.
