If you would like more information on ventilation or would like to purchase a C02 monitor at a greatly subsidised cost of £20 to help monitor the adequacy of ventilation within your premises, please email environmentalhealth@lancaster.gov.uk

Following the Government announcement in November 2021 about the re-introduction of facemasks in shops and on public transport, Lancaster City Council have a range of resources available to help businesses and customers comply with these requirements.

You can download signage from your business ( see below) and we can also provide you with boxes of face coverings. Please email environmentalhealth@lancaster.gov.uk for further information or supplies.

Lancaster City Council has developed a package of measures so business owners have the confidence to reopen in a manner that is safe not only for customers, but for their staff and themselves. Some of this work has been funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
