Food Safety Training
Training of staff is an essential part in running any business whether it be induction, ongoing or formal training you as an employer have legal duties which must be compleid with to achieve the 5 food hygiene rating.
A minimum requirement of Level 2 Training is essential for all food handlers who prepare or handle high risk food. Food Business Operators can demonstrate compliance with their legal duties if staff are suitably trained and hold this qualification. It is recommended that Level 2 training is repeated every 3 years to maintain knowledge and keep abreast of latest developments.
There are various forms of hygiene training available whether it be online or in person, unfortunatley we are not permitted to sugguest trainers but a good place to start may be Highfield training or the Chartered Instritute of Envirmental Health
