More Positive Together
Lancaster City Council is a delivery partner in More Positive Together – supporting residents to improve their skills and employment prospects.
If you are currently unemployed you could get a tailored programme of 1-to-1 mentoring, physical activity sessions, training courses, employment advice and work experience opportunities – designed to boost confidence, improve wellbeing and increase the chances of you getting a job.

If you're accepted on to the programme you’ll work with a mentor who’ll assess your needs, help you identify and overcome any barriers to employment, as well as giving you opportunities to develop new skills and valuable work experience.
To qualify, you must be:
- Aged between 16 & 65
- Resident in Lancashire
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Not in any kind of paid employment, including a zero hours contract.
