Find a new role or even a career at Lancaster District Jobs and Careers Fair

Jobseekers and those looking for a new career are being invited to meet with employers and skill providers face-to-face later this month.

The Lancaster District Jobs and Careers Fair is coming to The Platform in Morecambe on Wednesday, September 17 from 2pm to 6pm.

Organised by Lancaster City Council and funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), the event aims to help residents into employment, find a new career, or take up learning new skills.

“Through this event, we hope to improve the quality of life of our residents and develop a sustainable and just local economy that benefits people and organisations, which is a high-level priority featured in the Council Plan for the next two years.”

Visitors with physical or mental health conditions can also find out more on the day about the city council’s WorkWell programme, designed to help connect residents to support to start, stay or succeed in work.
