Charges for replacement bins and boxes
A service charge applies to cover the cost of replacement bins and boxes, in addition to the provision of containers for new properties in the district.
The charge is a one-off cost for the administration and provision of the containers. The containers remain the property of Lancaster City Council.

How do I order replacement bins and boxes?
Once payment has been confirmed your containers will be delivered within 15 working days.
Keep your bins and boxes safe
Once you have your bins and boxes, it is your responsibility to keep them safe and mark them clearly with your house name or number to prevent them from going missing or being stolen. This can be painted on your bins and boxes.
If your collection is from the rear alley you should ensure you have your house name or number on your gate.
