To support you with the upcoming changes to your waste and recycling service our officers are hitting the road with our Waste Changes Engagament Wagon.

We’ll be visiting locations across Carnforth, Morecambe and Lancaster from Monday, 17 to Thursday, 20 November 2025.

This is your chance to find out about the transition from recycling boxes to recycling wheelie bins, the launch of a weekly food waste collection service, and the change from collecting grey bins (residual waste) and general recycling every two weeks to every three weeks.

Our officers can also help answer any questions you may have about what you can place in your recycling containers and where you can take any items that we do not collect.

We’ll be stopping at the following locations:

Monday 17 November: Carnforth

• 9.30am to 12.30pm at Tesco Car Park
• 1pm to 4pm at Booths Car Park

Tuesday 18 November: Lancaster and Morecambe

• 10am to 12pm at ASDA Lancaster Superstore Car Park
• 1pm to 4pm outside Morrisons (Retail Park) in Morecambe

Wednesday 19 November: Morecambe

• 1pm to 4pm at Peddar Street Car Park in Morecambe

Thursday 20 November: Lancaster

• 10am to 12pm at ASDA Lancaster Superstore Car Park
