Rural England Prosperity Fund

The Rural England Prosperity Fund (REPF) will fund capital projects that support small businesses and community infrastructure projects in rural areas. This funding complements the United Kingdom Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) has announced that as an area containing substantial rural areas, the Lancaster district has been allocated £149,994 in 2025/26.

Projects must be located within the eligible rural areas of the district.

The priority themes are:

  • Support Local Business (£49,994)
  • Communities & Places (£100,000)
