The Consumer Standards set out what you should expect from us as your landlord.
They are national standards set by the Regulator of Social Housing and apply to all council housing landlords. They help make sure tenants have safe homes, good-quality services and a genuine voice in decisions that affect them.
What Does This Mean For Me?
🏡 Safe Homes
You should live in a home that is safe, well maintained and meets legal safety requirements.
🌳 Safe Neighbourhoods
You should feel safe where you live and be able to report issues such as anti-social behaviour.
🔑 Fair Tenancies
You should be treated fairly when applying for, moving into and living in your home.
🗣️ A Strong Tenant Voice
You should be able to influence decisions, challenge services and hold us accountable.
👩💼 Professional Services
Housing staff should be trained, knowledgeable and treat residents with respect.
