Welcome to Lancaster and Morecambe markets, home to traditional shopping.
There are four markets to choose from in Lancaster and Morecambe, each selling something different, so why not visit them all?
Lancaster indoor market has two floors of stalls selling local Lancashire favourites such as shrimps and cheese to international food from Africa, Poland and the Far East. From butchers to haberdashery, there is something for all.
The Charter Market takes over Lancaster's town centre every Wednesday and Saturday with a huge selection of stalls selling all sorts, from jewellery to cupcakes, local produce, foreign cuisine, books and so much more - come and see for yourself.
The Assembly Rooms market is housed in a lovely 18th century heritage building. Inside you can find stalls selling vintage clothing, costume hire, antiques and collectables, American comic books, pop memorabilia and a cafe for relaxing and refreshments.
The Festival Market on Morecambe Promenade is in a stunning location and is easily accessible with an adjoining car park - perfect for a day out. Over 100 stalls in a traditional market with a real hustle and bustle atmosphere and friendly, well established traders selling a wide variety of products.
